The MVP of the U20 European Championship which finished yesterday, Kostas Papanikolaou of Aris, was called to the Greek senior National Team.
Jonas Kazlauskas who is known about trusting and working with young and promising players and developing them rewarded the young forward with a call to the senior Greek National Team's preparation for Eurobasket 2009.
Papanikolaou was also voted in the "Best five" of U20 European Championship where he averaged 11.8 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 1.8 apg and 2 spg in the tournament could not hide his joy by saying that being called to the National Team is the biggest honour he could get.
