Tony Parker is one of the few European NBA super-stars who rarely says "NO" to his nation and is always there to help them out, but it seems that last night he was overzelous and got injured.
According to "Ligue Nationale de Basket" website Tony Parker left the game vs Austria after spending just 12 minutes on the court. Parker felt pain in his left thigh and that was the reason for his early withdrawal from the game.
It was only after he was checked by the team's physio established that the player had also suffered a mild sprained right ankle!
Fortunately there was no damage made to the ligament and after a "clean" MRI scan Parker was given the "OK" by the doctors to take part in France's next game against Italy.
