Just before the Croatian League's Finals the management of Cibona neglected sending Niksa Prkacin for additional examination on what seemed to be an insect bite.
Now it seems that it could be a partial tendon rapture and Prkacin will be sidelined for at least the next three weeks missing a great deal of the Croatian National Team's preparation for the Eurobasket in Poland.
Prkacin will stay with the team and participate in minor excercizes and as Head Coach Jasmin Repesa said they will wait for him untill the last minute in hope that he will be fit to step on the parquet on the 7th of September in Poznan.
