Kosta Koufos and Nick Calathes landed in Athens on Sunday morning in order the join the pre-eliminary squad of the Greek National Team and the preparation for the Eurobasket in Poland.
"It's a blessing and an honour for me to be here. I want to give my best. I am ready to help the NT since it was a dream of mine. The European game is totally different than the American, but i will do whatever I can" said Koufos.
About playing in Europe he said that his priority is to play in the NBA and that it is not a possibility right now.
"He is a good friend of mine and I am happy that he came to Greece and that we're going to train together" added Koufos about Calathes who arrived with him.
Calathes said " I am happy to come to Greece, It's an honour to play for the NT and I will try to make the final 12 for the Eurobasket".
