Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv has put extra punch on its perimeter by signing swingman Elijah Bryant to a two-year contract.

Bryant (1.96 meters, 24 years old) was the fourth-best scorer in the Israeli League last season, averaging 17.6 points for Hapoel Eilat, which he helped lead to the domestic final four.

Bryant also put up 5.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game and ranked fourth in PIR with 19.4 on average. He played particularly well in games against Maccabi, with 18.8 points, 3.3 assists, 63.0% two-point shooting and 44.0% accuracy from three-point distance.

Prior to making his pro debut last season, Bryant split a university career between Elon College and Brigham Young University, where he averaged 17.7 points.

“I’m very excited and very grateful to play in such a historic franchise,” Bryant said. “Fans, it’s time to get excited. Let’s do something special!”
