According to Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN, the Washington Wizards will offer a three-year, $111M maximum contract extension to Bradley Beal.
“At the very first moment allowed, we are going to offer Brad the full max extension,” the GM of the Wizards, Tommy Sheppard, told ESPN. The leader of the Wizards will become eligible to sign on Friday (26/07).
The 26-year-old guard has until October 21 to sign the extension, which would start with the 2021-22 season. However, Beal’s agent, Mark Bartelstein, indicates that Beal will need time to consider this offer.
