Greece fall to Serbia in Athens

ImageThe third international friendly game took place in Athens yesterday with Serbia topping Greece in the end with 83-82 eventhough the Greeks had the last posession and the chance to "steal" the game.

The Greeks were bad throughout the game defensively and Serbia took advantage of this, striking in the paint and on fastbreak. No team reached double digit margins and the Serbs were the ones to prevail in the end.

Greece: Kalambokis, Zisis 9, Spanoulis 21, Tsaldaris, Fotsis 7, Printezis, Glyniadakis 3, Koufos 7, Perperoglou 13, Schortsanitis 10, Calathes 11

Serbia: Popovic, Tepic 13, Radulica 4, Bjelica, Teodosic 7, Markovic, Tripkovic 10, Paunic 13, Krstic 8, Perovic 9, Velickovic 7, Macvan 12

The two teams will face each other again on Monday for the Acropolis Tournament. The other two teams participating are Lithuania and Russia.
