According to Marc J. Spears, the Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to hire Phil Handy to be their assistant coach under Frank Vogel.
This past season, Handy was an assistant on Nick Nurse’s staff in Toronto and spent the previous five seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
