Jonas Kazlauskas is now officially the coach of the Greek National Team for the next two season. Mr Kazlauskas had a meeting today with the President of FIBA Europe George Vasilakopoulos and the General Secretary of the Greek Basketball Federation Mr. Tsagronis and agreed on the final terms of the deal. He will be presented on Monday noon at the Divani Caravel Hotel.
George Vasilakopoulos stated after the deal was finalised: " There was a last issue pending but we overcame it in the best possible way. Now we move on as usual and we believe we are ready for new successes with the National Team."
Jonas Kazlauskas stated: " We talked with Mr. Vasilakopoulos and Mr. Tsagronis and we agreed.. It is an honour and a challenge for me to coach the Greek National Team which is a great and ambitious team. The Greek National Team has excellent players. Now I would like to start watching more games. I know the players but I would like to see them again before we start working."
