According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Philadelphia 76ers point guard Ben Simmons is “doubtful” to play for Australia at the FIBA World Cup this summer (31 August – 15 September). The 22-year-old is more likely to spend this offseason preparing for the upcoming season.
Last season, Simmons averaged 16.9 points, 8.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game.
