Defending champions stay in the game

ArgentinaArgentina will have a chance to repeat its 2004 glory after defeating Greece 80:78 (22:23, 17:17, 17:15, 24:23). The game was close as expected right from the start and it could have gone either way in the end.

Both teams had similar stats in almost every component of the game. The biggest lead hat Olympic Champions had was 7 points and it was only achieved in the final quarter. But Greece didn't let them take the win easily.

Manu Ginobili and Carlos Delfino were the main weapons for Argentina both scoring above 20 points.
