Leonardo Gutierrez has made history after scoring 15 threepoint shots leading his team, Penarol, to the win over Boca Juniors. The extraordinary feat took place a week ago.

The fifteen made threepointers are obviously a world record. It took Gutierez just 22 attempts to score them. The final score of the game was 120-76 to Penarol. The previous record also belonged to a Penarol player, Zanassi Leonardo, who scored 13 threepointers back in 1997.

Kobe Bryant holds the NBA record with 12 threepointers in 2003/04 season while Saulius Stombergas has scored 9/9 in Euroleague, in 2001.
