The General Manager of Khimki, Pavel Astakhov, confirmed that the Russian club is interested in signing Malcolm Delaney.

Here is what Astakhov told Izvestia:

“We are interested in all the strong players currently available on the market. Malcolm is definitely one of them. We are interested in signing him, we are in talks. But it’s difficult to negotiate.

Malcolm’s priority is to return to the NBA. In such cases, negotiations are always delayed.”

According to reports, Delaney has also received a two-year offer from CSKA Moscow. The American guard played for Lokomotiv Kuban in the 2015/16 season, leading his team to the 2016 EuroLeague Final Four.
