Panathinaikos announced on Monday (01/07) the acquisition of the American point guard Tyrese Rice.
The 32-year-old player arrives from Brose Bamberg, where he averaged 15.9 points and 6.3 assists in 37 German League games last season.
He also was the 2018-19 Basketball Champions League MVP, after posting 16.4 points and 4.4 assists in 19 games, leading his team to the Final Four. He also helped Bamberg win the German Cup.
Rice signed an one-year contract with the “Greens”.
