Also in Group A, Latvia beat Ukraine (82-74). In Group B, the Czech Republic overpowered Sweden (71-64) and France crushed Montenegro (53-88).
In Group C, Slovenia earned the victory over Turkey (62-55), while Hungary stunned Italy (51-59).
Last but not least, hosts Serbia rallied past Russia (77-63) and remained undefeated in Group D, while Belarus edged Belgium (61-69).
