Omri Casspi showing he’s only rookie in name

ImageOmri Casspi, the first Israeli to play in the NBA has had a great start to his NBA career. The 6-9 swingman is averaging 10.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in 14 minutes off the bench for the Sacramento Kings.

Casspi brings much-needed hustle, energy and intensity off the bench for the Kings.

Even better is that Casspi is hitting more than half his shots from the field; 50.8% to be exact as well as converted 17 of 37 three pointers (46%). High percentages considering NBA players normally struggle to shoot well in their first years.
