Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos confirmed the departure of James Gist from the six-time EuroLeague champions.
Gist joined the “Greens” in the second part of the 2012/13 season and remained with the team for the next seven years.
The 32-year-old center averaged 7.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in the 2018/19 EuroLeague.
Gist claimed five Greek Basket League titles and six Greek Cups with Panathinaikos.
