According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant has opted out of his $31.5 million player option for next year to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Last season, the 30-year-old averaged 26.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.
