Luigi Datome took to Facebook and revealed that he will undergo a cleaning surgery in order to be ready for the next season.
The forward of Fenerbahce and captain of the Italian national team also mentioned that he will be ready on time for the Basketball World Cup.
Datome averaged 9.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in the 2018/2019 EuroLeague, but he missed the Final Four, due to a calf injury.
