Barcelona survived a late thriller against Real Madrid (78-77) and remained alive in the ACB Finals (2-1).

The “Whites” went on a 2-18 run in the second quarter to end the first half in front by six (34-40).

The visitors extended their lead to double digits (38-49), yet the Catalans turned things around, thanks to a 12-0 run of their own (50-49).

Real took back the lead (63-68, 71-77), yet the “Blaugrana” closed the game on a 7-0 run to seal the deal. Sergio Llull and Trey Thompkins failed to give their team the victory.

Thomas Heurtel led the winners with a game-high 21 points, whereas Facundo Campazzo and Thompkins had 18 points apiece for the losing squad.

Game 4 will be played at “Palau Blaugrana” on Friday (21/06).
