The Los Angeles Clippers point guard and free-agent-to-be Patrick Beverley is reportedly expected to meet with as many as five teams before meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers. The Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls are among potential suitors for Beverley, according to Sean Deveney.
“What’s your thought process going into this free agency period?” a reporter from TMZ asked Beverley.
“Securing my family’s future,” Beverley replied.
Last season, the 30-year-old averaged 7.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 3.8 assists, while shooting at 40.7 percent from the field.
