Cyril Julian retires at 35

ImageAt 35 former French international Cyril Julian decided to put an end to his career. The 2.06m centre was finding was finding it increasingly difficult to play due to a feet problem that has been bothering him for years.

A product of Nancy, where he ended and played most of his career, Julian also wore the jerseys of Paris Saint-Germain, Pau-Orthez, Girona and Pamesa Valencia. For France he played a total of 135 times until 2006 and helped the national team conquer the silver medal at the 2000 Olympics.
