The New Orleans Pelicans power forward Julius Randle will decline his $9 million player option for next year to become unrestricted free agent this summer.
Last season, the 24-year-old averaged 21.8 points, 3.1 assists and 8.7 rebounds per game, while shooting at 52.4 percent from the field.
