The president of Partizan Ostoja Mijailovic took to Twitter and stated that his team will consider leaving the Serbian League.

Mijailovic complained about the referees’ decisions in Game 1 of the Serbian League Finals against Crvena Zvezda on Monday (10/06).

“Partizan doesn’t allow its players and coaches to be exposed to things that have nothing to do with sports and will do everything to protect them from a scandal like this match tonight!

In the morning, we will have a meeting where we will seriously consider whether we will continue participating in the Serbian League,” Mijailovic tweeted.

For his part, the head coach of Partizan, Andrea Trinchieri, was also furious with the referees, after being ejected with two technical fouls.

“The Finals must be decided by players, not by people who must be imperceptible, who think they are stars. This is a shame, let us play basketball. They hurt me the whole game, it’s no respect,” the Italian coach told reporters.

Game 2 will be played on Wednesday (12/06).
