According to the Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, big man Kevon Looney might potentially return to the Finals:

“Real possibility. Basically, we got a second opinion. It’s a tricky injury…the original diagnosis we got was series-ending. But Loon is dying to play. We got a second opinion. He’s going through some testing today and tomorrow, so I think there’s a real chance he could be back out there,” Kerr said.

Looney suffered a non-displaced first costal cartilage fracture during Game 2 of the NBA Finals.

This season, the 23-year-old averaged 6.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
