Valencia endured the come-back of Unicaja Malaga and earned the victory (79-76), winning the series and advancing to the semi-finals (2-1).

Malaga came back twice from a double-digit deficit (25-10, 56-43) and took the lead early in the fourth quarter (60-61).

Yet, Valencia went on a 13-3 run and never looked back (73-64). Despite the visitors’ late effort to “steal” the win (77-74), the hosts stood tall and sealed the deal.

Mike Tobey had a game-high 17 points for the winners, whereas Giorgi Shermadini had a team-high 14 points for the losing squad.

Valencia will face Real Madrid in the semi-finals. In the other match-up, Barcelona will play against Zaragoza.
