In an interview with Zalgiris Kaunas TV channel, Aaron White mentioned he is close to moving to the NBA.
Here is what the American power forward said:
“I wish I could tell you ‘yes’ or ‘no’. I’m close (to the NBA), but there’s no definite answer. I’m trying to figure out what I want to do. What’s best for where I want to take my career. Obviously, I got my third child on the way so that’s an important factor.
My wife’s happiness is an important factor. It’s something that we’ve been talking about like crazy this last couple of weeks. Something we don’t have a definite answer to, even ourselves.
The NBA is a dream, but I’m also realistic in terms of what’s most important for myself and for my family. So we are going to talk that through. Weigh our options and then go from there.”
White is a free agent and is expected to leave Zalgiris Kaunas after spending the two previous seasons with the Lithuanians.
The 26-year-old player averaged 8.2 points and 4.2 rebounds in the EuroLeague this season.
