Khimki became the 16th team that will compete in the 2019/20 EuroLeague, leaving two spots open.

The 16 teams that have already secured their spot in next year’s competition are as follows:

Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, CSKA Moscow, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Fenerbahce, Armani Milano, Anadolu Efes, Zalgiris Kaunas, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Baskonia, Valencia (winner of the EuroCup), Crvena Zvezda (winner of the ABA League), Khimki (will play in the VTB League Finals against CSKA Moscow), Bayern Munich and ASVEL Villeurbanne.

The 17th spot will be covered by the winner (or the runner-up if Bayern claims the title) of the German League and the 18th one (will be covered) via a wild card.
