FC Bayern might have been impressive so far in the summer transfer market but few expected that they could sign the starting PG of Germany NT. Yet the Bavarian club did it in style, for the next three seasons.
Hamann is not only the starting point guard of the Germany NT but also its captain, in the absence of great Dirk Nowitzki, of course. He is the second itnernaitonal German to join the club after Demond Greene.
Not not mention that the club is being coached by the national coach Dirk Bauermann, who has completed the team’s roster with Hamann.
Hamann has won Germany Bundesliga in 2005 and 2007 with Bamberg. After 2008 when he joined Alba Berlin he won 1 German Cup.
“I am happy to return to my native Bavaria, I have many friends in Munich and in the region. I want to help the FC Bayern in the promotion bid and look forward to an interesting project in this emerging society.” said Hamann.
