Paok had only 9 players in the squad and the team from Thessaloniki travel to Patra with 3 players from youth team. Promitheas was better from the first half and the team who coached by Makis Giatras led by 10 points in the first quarter ( 21-11). The distance was increased at halftime ( 48-30). Although Paok answered with 4-13 in a row ( 60-43), but the attempt from Paok players wasn’t enough. Promitheas led by 19 points in the end of the third quarter ( 65-46) and finally the hosts won the first match against Paok in Playoffs with 81-66. Linos Chrysikopoulos had a great game for Paok Thessalonikis with 24 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, 3 turnovers and 33 points of ranking. The MVP of the match is Tony Meier with 16 points, 1 rebound and 15 points of ranking

Paok B.C. will host Promitheas Patras in 22 May for the 2nd gameweek of Basketleague Playoffs

Peristeri Bikos Cola ( 2nd place) – Hfaistos Limnou ( 7th place) : 84-81

Lazy start for the two teams ( 18-18), but hosts was better than Hfaistos Limnou. Peristeri led by 5 points at halftime ( 47-42). In the third quarter Hfaistos Limnou took the lead with Mourato’s points mainly. Peristeri regained the lead in the fourth quarter and finally the team who coached by Argyris Pedoulakis won the match ( 84-81).

Hfaistos Limnou will host Peristeri Bikos Cola in 22 May for the 2nd gameweek of Basketleague Playoffs

Aek took the lead from the start ( 7-0) and the team who coached by Banchi was decisive. Hunter and Sant-Roos had a great performance from the first quarter ( 17-4). Aek led by 13 points in the first quarter ( 21-8) and the Queen of Greek Basketleague was in front at halftime ( 43-30). Agbelese and Larentzakis points was very important for Aek in the third quarter and hosts led by 16 points ( 63-47). Aek finally won easily Holargos with 84-62 and Vince Hunter was MVP again.

 Holargos B.C. ( 8th place) will host Aek Athens ( 1st place) in 22 May for the 2nd gameweek of Basketleague Playoffs
