Golden State dominated Portland in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals

Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals saw the Golden State Warriors crush the Portland Trail Blazers at home (116-94).

The two-time defending champions were in front for the majority of the night and never looked back. They led by as many as 22 points and cruised to an easy victory.

Stephen Curry (36 points, nine three-pointers) and Klay Thompson (26 points) combined for 62 points for the winners.

On the other hand, five players scored in double figures for the losing squad, with Damian Lillard having a team-high 19 points.

Game 2 will be played in Oakland on Thursday (16/05).
