Fuenlabrada took to Twitter and announced that two-time EuroCup champion Marko Popovic has decided to retire from professional basketball.
The 36-year-old guard has been playing professional basketball since 1998. He has won the EuroCup twice, in 2011 with Unics Kazan and in 2015 with Valencia, respectively.
Popovic also celebrated numerous domestic titles in Croatia, Russia, Spain, Lithuania, and Turkey.
