Montepaschi Siena found a player who will be helping Terrell McIntyre at the point guard position in the Italian Play-Offs. The club announced the signing of a 35-year-old veteran Shammond Williams who was playing in Spanish ACB league with Murcia before the transfer.
Williams started the season with Unicaja but was waived before the new year. Since then he played eight games for Murcia averaging 12.1 points and 5 assists per game.
It will the first team in Italy for Shammond Williams with most of his European career being spent in Spain with Barcelona, Pamesa, Unicaja and Murcia.
