In a press conference on Friday (03/05), Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness confirmed that the head coach of the team, Dejan Radonjic, will remain with the club.
Here is what Hoeness, who celebrated his 40-year presence in the club, said per Spox:
On Dejan Radonjic: “We talked about it recently and, as far as I know, he has an offer for a contract extension on the table.
I am very positive about the Montenegrin, who did a very good job. He came in a difficult situation at the time when there was a lot of chaos and he did well.”
On the expansion of the EuroLeague from 16 to 18 teams: “Things can not go on like this, players will soon have four games a week and additional travel across Europe, so it should not be like that.
I do not understand that, but I do not think it would be wise to extend the burden. The BBL must also provide relief and consider a reduction from 18 to 16 teams.”
