Croatian basketball federation confirmed Veljko Mrsic as national team’s head coach. Former Croatian player will replace Drazen Anzulovic at “hotspot” where Croatia must press the “restart” button after not reaching the FIBA World Cup in China due to negative series of results in FIBA Qualifiers.
After ending his playing career Mrsic worked as Croatian powerhouses (Cedevita, Cibona and Split) coach and also spent some time coaching in Liga Endesa (Bilbao Basket) & in Serie A (Varese).
