Nikola Jokic scored 43 points as the Nuggets lost to the Spurs

The Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic scored a game-high 43 points (19/30 FG including 2/6 from three), grabbed 12 rebounds, tallied two steals, blocked a shot and handed out nine assists in the Nuggets’ 120-103 road loss over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 on Thursday.

Jokic’s 43 points set a new Denver Nuggets playoffs scoring record.

“My performance is probably the best of my career, but it was not enough,” Jokic said, per ESPN.

On the other hand, LaMarcus Aldridge posted 26 points along with 10 rebounds, DeMar DeRozan added 25 points, seven boards and seven assists for the Spurs.

Game 7 will be played on Saturday at Denver’s Pepsi Center.
