We received a letter from Giorgi Tsintsadze's agent and as Media Ethics dictate we have to publish it in order for the truth to shine. It seems that Trikala did not pay the player as agreed.
Here is the letter:
I refer to the article which was published on Eurobasket.com (Georgian and Greek sections) on December 13th‚ 2009. The title of the article is “Trikalla release Giorgi Tsintsadze” which is not correct. I represent Giorgi Tsintsadze with respect to his FIBA Standard Player’s Agent and Player Contract for the 2009 through 2011 years.
We’ve faxed the termination letter to AS Trikalla 2000 office on December 9th‚ 2009 and requested to immediately pay Full Base salary to my client as stated in the Contract by and between Giorgi Tsintsadze and Trikalla. The reason why we did so is that Trikalla didn’t respect the Payment Schedule referred in the contract.
Giorgi Tsintsadze already signed an agreement with one of the TOP eastern European teams and he will be announced on Monday by the press office of the team.
