ImageVasilis Spanoulis of Panathinaikosv made Greek A1 history after scoring 18 points on Sunday away at Kavala by entering the Top40 all time scorers of the league while Michael Batiste saw his 200th game wearing the Green jersey in the league as prasinanea.gr reports.

Spanoulis made it past the 2500 career points mark of which just 1198 with Panathinaikos and the rest with Maroussi which was his previous club before joining The Greens. Spanoulis also reached 100 steals for Panathinaikos in A1.

Records did not stop there as Michael Batiste became the first non-Greek that played more than 200 games in A1 for Panathinaikos. Just four  other non-Greek players have achieved this in the entire history of A1. He is also now the 6th player with most games for Panathinaikos in the Greek League and only Tsartsaris form current Panathinaikos players have played more games for the team.

With the 10 points Batiste scored on sunday he became the 4th all times top-scorer of Panathinaikos, being the top one of the players currently in Panathinaikos squad. He is also the third all-times rebounder of Panathinaikos, second at two pointers scored and he has also made it to the Top10 list in steals.

Stratos Perperoglou who was Panathinaikos' top-scorer in the game against Kavala reached 1313 points with Panathinaikos in 70 league games.
