According to Peter Vecsey, former Boston Celtics coach Rick Pitino and the Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert talked about the franchise’s open head coach position after Cleveland parted ways with coach Larry Drew.
Pitino is currently the head coach of Panathinaikos of the Greek Basket League.
