Anadolu Efes head coach Ergin Ataman was confident his team will defeat Barcelona next week on the road and will reclaim the home-court advantage (1-1)
Here is what the Turkish coach said in the post-game press conference following the loss to Barcelona (72-74):
“In the first half, we couldn’t find our usual tempo. They used Tomic inside, they used Singleton very well. We found the occasional score, but every time we run, we got tired.
That’s why we lost control of the match in the third quarter. We missed the game and the home advantage by missing the shots at the end. The situation is now 1-1, they beat us in our house, and we’ll go on the field to beat them at their court.”
Games 3 and 4 will be played in Barcelona on Wednesday (24/04) and Friday (26/04).
