The Washington Wizards center Dwight Howard has exercised his $5.6 million player option to remain with the Wizards for the 2019-2020 season.
The 33-year-old has been out of action since November after undergoing back surgery.
This season, Howard played in nine games for the Wizards and averaged 12.8 points along with 9.2 rebounds per game.
