The ACB and its chairman, Antonio Martin, released an official announcement and addressed the new EuroLeague calendar for the next season.

The EuroLeague and ELPA (EuroLeague Players Association) reached an agreement regarding the 2019/20 calendar on Monday (08/04).

Martin and the Spanish League stated the decision of the EuroLeague was unexpected and expressed their concern on the calendar, which “alters the room planned for playoffs of national leagues,” per the ACB.

The 2020 Final Four is scheduled to take place from May 21 to May 24. This season, the tournament will be played on May 17 – 19 in Vitoria, Spain.
