The Memphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a Grade 2 right ankle sprain. Surgery is not required.
Valanciunas averaged 20.1 points, 10.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks, while shooting at 54 percent from the field with the Grizzlies since All-Star break.
