Panathinaikos keeps Jasikevicius out of Greek A1

ImageDue to the number of foreign players limitations, Panathinaikos decided to keep Sarunas Jasikevicius out of the Greek A1, until further notice. Instead Jurica Golemac will be registered.

The decision was mainly based on the fact that Jasikevicius is still injured and will need at least a month to be able to play. Amongst the games he will miss will also be Olympiacos-Panathinaikos next month.

Only 6 non-Greeks can play in Greek A1 at ant given time and the chosen ones by Obradovic are Drew Nicholas, Michael Batiste, Jurica Golemac, Nikola Pekovic, Milenko Tepic and Georgi Shermadini.

Jasikevicius is expected to replace Golemac as soon as he is fit.

Olympiacos has also taken a similar decision by keeping Yotam Halperin out.
