The Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career-high 52 points (15/26 FG, 3/8 3PT, 19/21 FT), grabbed 16 rebounds, dished out seven assists, tallied two steals and blocked a shot in the Bucks’ 125-130 home loss over the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday night.
Antetokounmpo became the fourth player to post at least 52 points for the Bucks in the three-point era.
Meanwhile, Joel Embiid scored 40 points (15/31 FG), 15 boards, six assists, three steals and a block for the Sixers. It was Embiid’s 52nd double-double of the season.
The Milwaukee Bucks are first in the Central Division with a 52-18 record.
The Philadelphia 76ers are second in the Atlantic Division with a 45-25 record.
Following the win, the Sixers clinched a playoff spot.
