First title of the season for Montepaschi Siena as they beat Virtus Bologna with 87-65 for the Italian Supercup.
Virtus Bologna had a 4-point lead after the first period and showed that they were prepared to put on a fight against grand favorites Siena. Their effort was too poor though as Siena stepped on the gas in the second quarter, taking the lead and going to the locker rooms sitting on a 8-point lead.
The margin would only grow in the second have and Siena cruised to an easy victory at the end
