Four days after their EuroCup clash, UNICS Kazan claimed another victory over Lokomotiv Kuban on the road (77-84) and remained alive in the battle of the second place.

Maurice Ndour (22 points) and Errick McCollum (16 points) were the best players of the winners, who turned things around in the second half. On the other hand, Dmitry Kulagin and Mateusz Ponitka had 13 points apiece for the losing squad.

The hosts controlled the game in the first 20 minutes and were in front by 10 (42-32). Yet, the visitors came back and outscored their opponents 35-52 to seal the deal.

UNICS improved to 15-4 and maintained a top two push, whereas Lokomotiv dropped to 13-6, but remained alive in the battle of the fourth place.
