Baskonia took to Twitter and announced that Matt Janning will be sidelined for the next six weeks, with a foot injury.
The American forward suffered a plantar fascia micro-fracture on his right foot and will remain out of action for six weeks.
He is expected to miss the rest of the EuroLeague regular season and most of the playoffs, if the Basques advance to the postseason.
Janning has been averaging 10.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in the EuroLeague so far.
