Olympiacos head coach David Blatt referred to the departure of Janis Timma, who will join Khimki for the remainder of the season on loan from the “Reds”.
“At the end of the day, it is a positive decision for both sides. Timma is a good player, who never really adapted to our playing style.
In addition, Janis Strelnieks will soon return to action, so Timma would likely remain out of the rotation in the Greek League. We took this decision a few days ago,” the experienced coach said.
