Per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando, two-time NBA champion Mario Chalmers has reached an agreement with Virtus Bologna and is expected to join the Italian team.
The 32-year-old guard last played for the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2017/18 season. He has won the NBA title twice (2012, 2013).
Virtus Bologna is currently seventh in the Italian League standings, with a 10-9 record. The Italian team will also face Le Mans in the first knockout stage of the Basketball Champions League.
